1. Guest Capacity & Layout Options
Carroll Hall accommodates up to 130 standing/cocktail guests or 90 seated guests for a full venue buyout.
The Hall (Indoor Warehouse Space): Fits up to 90 guests, seated or standing. Features high ceilings, skylights, and seamless access to the outdoors.
The Garden (Outdoor Courtyard): Fits up to 100 seated or 130 standing guests among birch trees, native plantings, and water features.
2. Location & Transportation
Located in East Williamsburg at 2 Vandervoort Place, Brooklyn, NY 11237 (on the corner of Vandervoort Place and Thames Street), Carroll Hall offers an urban oasis that remains easily accessible for all your guests:
Subway: 1 block from the Morgan Ave (L Train) stop and a short walk from the Flushing Ave (J/M Trains) stop.
Parking: 2 designated on-site spots reserved for client/vendor loading, with street parking available nearby.
3. What’s Included in Your Rental
Every standard venue rental grants exclusive access to our primary spaces: The Hall, The Garden, and Rose’s Room, along with essential amenities:
On-Site Furniture: 100 white padded folding chairs, (10) 60" round tables, (15) 6-ft rectangular dining tables, (7) catering tables, (8) cocktail tables, and (2) mobile bars.
Event Support: Dedicated venue manager during your event, security staff, Wi-Fi, coat racks, and a catering prep kitchen.
Add-On Suites: The private Mezzanine Lounge and our garden Treehouse can be added to your booking.
4. Pricing & Rental Packages
Venue packages are structured by season and event type:
Peak Dates: Starting at $7,500 for full-day weekday access and starting at $12,000 for weekend access during our peak season.
Off-Peak Dates: Starting at $5,500 for full-day weekday access and $7,500 for weekend access.

5. Food, Catering & Bar Policies
Carroll Hall gives you the flexibility of a bring-your-own-caterer model while maintaining an in-house beverage program:
Catering: Bring in your choice of licensed caterer. They will have full access to our prep kitchen equipped with a commercial refrigerator, ice machine, 3-basin sink, prep tables, and dishwasher.
Bar Packages: Because Carroll Hall holds its own liquor license, all alcohol and beverage packages are provided directly through the venue, ensuring professional, curated bar service. View our beverage packages here.
6. Vendor Guidelines & Event Coordination
You are welcome to bring in your florists, photographers, DJs, and designers.
Vendor Requirements: Outside vendors simply need to sign our standard agreement and provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). Planning
Requirement: To ensure every event runs without a hitch, Carroll Hall requires a professional day-of coordinator or wedding planner to be on site for all weddings and major milestone events.
7. Sound & Outdoor Music Policies
Because Carroll Hall is nestled in a neighborhood, outdoor amplified music in the garden must end by 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday. However, celebrations can transition inside The Hall to keep the party going!
8. Rain & Weather Plans
Our indoor/outdoor design allows for a natural flow in any season. In the event of rain or intense sun, guests can move into The Hall. For full outdoor coverage, rain/shade tents can be installed in the garden through our exclusive third-party tenting vendor.
9. Accessibility & Amenities
All primary public areas across The Hall and Garden are ground-level, fully wheelchair accessible, and ADA compliant.
Our space includes three restrooms total: two standard restrooms and one dedicated ADA-accessible restroom equipped with a baby changing station.
10. The Mezzanine Lounge & Treehouse
Designed as hidden architectural surprises, these add-on spaces elevate the guest experience:
The Mezzanine Lounge: Our go-to "unofficial wedding suite," perfect for getting ready, private post-ceremony toasts, or corporate green rooms.
