In Bloom Industry Event

After a long pandemic hiatus, Carroll Hall and Davis Row were thrilled to bring together event planners, photographers, musicians, caterers and other industry experts to introduce them to our event space at our first industry event: In Bloom.

Our warehouse space was transformed into a springtime lounge for guests with a lush indoor chandelier of colorful florals, elegant seating by RentQuest, and a spring tablescape by Please B Seated

Sounds by DJ June, passed hors d'oeuvres from Harvest and Revel Catering, and specialty cocktails including a Pear Brandy Sidecar (made from pears grown in our garden) completed the spring vibe indoors.

At the oversized wooden pivot door, Angel Salazar Design’s cherry blossoms twirled through the brick wall and over the courtyard inviting guests into the heart of the garden to experience Adam Lomeo’s classical guitar.

We loved seeing the looks of surprise and wonder as people explored further into the garden to the beautiful, hanging interactive floral display by Angel Salazar in the treehouse.

True to our Carroll Hall theme of discovery, guests unearthed the Cosmic Journey of the star-nosed mole mosaics, walked the cloister paths with vignettes, explored the courtyards, wandered through the garden to the treehouse, and were accompanied to the secret lounge and balcony.

We had a wonderful time but our favorite part of the event was seeing so many smiling faces reconnecting. The response to this event was tremendous and we are grateful to everyone who attended In Bloom at Carroll Hall.

Bea Rue

Freelance Web & Graphic Designer

Recently I began taking inventory of my life, recognizing the shifts I could make to lessen my personal consumption and impact. Since we spend a quarter of our lives working, that was certainly an area demanding attention. So I left retail and begin my career freelancing for small businesses whose higher purpose transcends profit.

I believe in employing my skills and energy to empower others working to create positive change in our world. I support too-swamped entrepreneurs by breathing life into their brands and websites, allowing them to focus on the important work at hand. At the same time, I get to nurture my own entrepreneurial spirit while being creative and building truly meaningful relationships throughout my community.

I strive to inform, delight and inspire by balancing content with design. I consider the details without losing sight of the big picture. I aim to see around corners while staying focused on the moment. I'm self directed but have over a decade of experience successfully working with teams. And while I've surely got bills to pay, I know it's my social responsibility to be selective about where I put my energy.
