Patronage & Support
By nurturing and uplifting artists and activists who align with our vision, we can tap into the roles creativity and activism play in shaping a more just world. We actively engage with and support individuals working in architecture, design, ceramics, and more. Through patronage, Carroll Hall provides opportunities for artists to showcase their work, gain recognition, and contribute to the broader dialogue on sustainability and social justice. We foster collaborations, provide resources, and create platforms for these individuals to amplify their voices and inspire others.
Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the very foundation of our space, which uses original bricks, existing ceramic brick walls from the prior warehouse structure, and most of the interior wood. Automated natural ventilation helps us regulate the temperature of the indoor spaces and a sub-ground 5000-gallon water tank collects and filters water run-off for garden irrigation. We encourage our event partners to make environmentally responsible choices, such as using sustainable inserts for floral arrangements, compostable serving ware (when ceramics aren’t an option), and donating leftover food to community fridges.
